We know that what affects one member of our island community affects us all. That’s why our staff and residents dedicate themselves to giving back by volunteering over 5,000 hours of community service each year. We partner with law enforcement, community groups, and social service agencies to help maintain a clean environment and improve conditions for Hawaii’s people. Through participation in community service, program residents develop leadership skills, build supportive social networks, and gain new perspectives and a greater sense of belonging.
