Women who successfully complete all program requirements and demonstrate financial responsibility are eligible for Community Placement. During this final phase of our program, women live in the residence they plan to parole to, while retaining a reduced level of structure and accountability through our program. They continue to keep a regular schedule and curfew, maintain full-time employment or schooling, participate in random drug and alcohol screening, and meet weekly with their case manager. Community Placement allows women greater freedom while retaining support and services during the time at which they are at the highest risk for recidivating. This critical program element provides a more integrated, seamless re-socialization and reentry process, ensuring a greater likelihood of success for program graduates.
